Time to break that Kelburn Park curse ...

... or to be canceled and/or transfered.

CAPITAL 6:
Lower Hutt Sangham __ North Wellington __ Fraser 1 (2.30);
Brooklyn Northern __ Uni Accies __ Happy Valley 1 (2.30);
Uni Stallions __ Miramar Rangers __ Kelburn (12.30);
Marist Inter __ Wainui Undertakers __ Miramar 3 (12.30);
North Wgtn Villa __ Petone Chicago __ Raroa (2.30);

On paper we have the easiest match of the top 3 - catchup time.

We'll have to be careful though playing the 2nd equal best attack. Lucky they're the 2nd worst defense - except we failed to score against the worst defence on the weekend. Come on attack!

Yup, game on fellas. Our defensive minded players did very well against Marist - who I thought really showed us how dangerous it is to have a lot of movement up front. If we are not transferred, KP looks like another pitch on which one goal could be very defendable and might be enough. Mysterious ways: I got four at indoor today. All in-off. argh..

No way should we take this as a guaranteed win. No where near it. They have 4 wins - we have 6.

We can point to the pitch, somewhat, for the lack of goals. I think that shows in the amount of goals scored in our last three games on shit pitches. My memory aint what it used to be, but I would put it at less than 6. 0-0; 1-1; and the game before that was on the turf, prior to that well that might as well have been last millennium. But I don't recall more than four scored.

Shit goals are scored on shit pitches. Though not known for our intense Arsenal-like build up play in the past (more so this year however) dare I suggest three up front, and the triangle formations our awesome midfield move up the field, give way to lumping the ball into the box, hoping for some one to poke it in.

Sounds terrible I know, but we need to score some goals, and with the ball bouncing around like a rugby ball no-one can get set to pull the trigger.

Here ends my longest post/rant and first game analysis in Stallions history.

yeah we only looked like scoring from long balls last week so more of the same might be in order on Saturday..
