From the 'believe it or not' file

Island Bay United Association Football ClubNick Goodall rounded off a fighting comeback for the Reserves as they clawed back a 3 nil deficit at half time to draw 3-3 with Wellington United at Shark Park. A tepid first half was dramatically turned around in the second, with Ryan Du Plessis and David Rutherford notching the first 2 goals before Nick finished it off about 3 minutes from time.

Come on Nick, tell us all about it.

Haha well, it wasn't exactly a screamer so not much to tell. Free kick outside the box - powerful shot on target from our winger. Keeper could only manage to block it right into my path to side-foot home. Dramatic stuff!

Bet the celebration was epic though - did you steal Panda's - that would even go down well in the upper grades.

Oh damn - no I completely forgot about that celebration. To be honest I was so surprised I didn't fuck it up I didn't really know what to do!

Next time though...

Otherwise known as the Peter Crouch celebration - I'm sure that dude is always the most surprised player on the park whenever he scores. (Yes Rauru & Corey ALL those 5 times he scores a season!)
