Fines

Looks like Aaron is making a play to get the finemaster role back (missing the power maybe?), so I thought I better get these up before we end up back under his tyrannical rule.

Stallion - Tristan (if you were at the game you know why).
Pony - Me (ditto).

MVP - 3 - Tristan
2 - Corey
1 - Hodges (the benefits of being at the fine session - he shot down his competitor for the last point with clinical precision).

Fines:

Me - A second $5 fine
Corey - Spittle in the corners of his mouth. We thought it might be because he was rabid, but Jason says it happens every game. Look out for this to become a regular fine.
All the defenders - Conceding four goals, shame on us all.
Joe - fine for checking at half time if he was a father yet.
Hodges/Rauru - fines for the half time talk tiff.
Gus - finally breaking the goal drought
Gus - still having less goals than Corey
Everyone - either an angry man, or a fine for not getting angry when we played so crap.

Nice one Hodges. Now even your shit calls get fines for other people!

And I think the angry man fine needs to be looked at. Drogba deserved an angry man fine. Balack deserved an angry man fine. The team for trying to pick each other up by yelling out 'encouragement' when heads started to drop I dont think does.

Hmmm I don't recall much gentle 'encouragement' being offered to one another. A lot of deserved abuse. I reckon ballack could handle a couple of our $1 angry man fines.

Do we all get angry man fines for swearing at the weather which looks like halting our climb back up the table tomorrow?

What you up to Rauru - banning missed shot fines, captain's fines for leaving stuff at home ('I'm the only one who has to bring stuff - alright the rest of you bring it!'). Next you will be saying that we shouldn't fine G's 'genetic inferiority' or open goals (now that wouldn't be so bad ...). Goodall must be fuming that all his fine-based discipline is drifting out like the Stallions Goals Against tally. You been pretty quiet recently Nick, abandoned the Stallions, or missing us too much?

Definitely missing you fellas, especially when the good results roll in.

I'm sure I'm not the one who introduced the fine-based disciplining - although I was always keen to find more reasons to fine the strikers as we always seemed to get "bad defence - all fined" but there was never the same for them.

We're still doing alright - drew with top team Marist yesterday, clean sheet so that's always great, and it's a wickedly close league with only 6 points splitting all 10 teams.

Dunno if I mentioned I made a 2 minute cameo for the firsts in a Chatham Cup match - stoked! And it was up front!

Keep it up anyway fellas!!!!

That all sounded great until you connected Chatam Cup with you playing up front, my gawd!

Good stuff.
