Kick off of first half vs Elite. Rauru calls the old hit it straight down Hodges wing play. The Elite striker has seen this 1000 times before and charges at Rauru who hits it straight into his arse, Elite gets the ball, straight to the other end and almost scores after 8 seconds.
I propose that along with the Twinkle and Turtle this move should be banished from the Stallions playbook. Embarrassing. It should only be allowed to be pulled out at times of extreme irony (and perhaps in games of backyard cricket).

Mmm as a 35 year old i do expend a massive amount of energy running to a spot where the ball never is. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but the day Stallions football makes sense is the day the Stallions die.
Well said Ben, well said (the Stallions making sense part, not the football never there part. I remember against SV I put it on a platter for you and we had a good attack from it).
Having watched quite a bit of football in the last 48 hours, the exact game eludes me, but I saw this exact move being done by a 'good' team. Maybe Glory? Nix? An EPL team? Only difference was that they did a short back-pass before chipping for the corner. The move is gold, and unless we replace it with a flying wedge then I'm not sure we have any other options.
