Here's Graham, setting up a game of 'risk'?

'OK, here we go again. I believe Aaron is setting up a game of diplomacy at the same time too, but Greg suggested a threesome and I'm always into trying new things, so I thought why not.'

Well, Greg for a start. Have you seen that guy?

I read in the paper that Nairnville is getting a $750,000 articifical pitch which will not be affected by buckets of rain.

And that capital soccer is trying to get more pitches around the city to go artifical

my knees are already weeping...

Serious about the artifical pitch Hodges? If they get in some good ones it might not be too bad. Slide tackling is out (which will save a few ankles around the place) but they use them heaps here, and they even play internationals on them (Eng vs Russia Euro quals) although I'd imagine they might be slightly different to the ones nairnville have in mind...

Straight up, Rauru. Thing is if the pitch is a success (and at $750,000 one hopes so)i dare say we will be relegated to some god forsaken home ground like Raroa Park.

But is astro turf all that bad these days regarding burns?, those hockey pitches on the olympics appear to be sprinkled in water for example.

They're putting the artificial pitch on the top of the hill at Nairnville so the other two grounds will still be there.

And to be honest I doubt if we'd ever get to play on the artificial one anyway, much like we never get a crack on KP.

Yeah, i'd say the pitch should be alright for sliding on
