Great goal though - one for the ages - pin point cross from Paddy, great header from Rauru. One for the best of the season?
I would imagine Stallion would probably have to come out of that. Any other nominations?
As for pony, I am still howling with laughter at Rauru dropping to the ground head in hands as though he had been punched in the face. Hollywoood. One to add to this reel:
Any other nominations? And some MVPS please - haven't done the fantasy tally for a bit (often happens when I get 2 point games), but will once we sort these.

Haha, yea, that was a pretty shit dive. To be fair, I did get hit in the face but it wasn't hard or intentional. Just trying to be a striker and win a foul. I'll go down any chance I get (that's what she says).
Pony worthy nomination for sure. I vote Paddy's cross for Stallion. Next to my one for Tom that's the best assist of the season ;)
Dunno if it's goal of the season worthy. It was a free header and the keeper was coming out. It was one of those ones that you just get the feeling that it's gonna go in as soon as the cross was put in. I'm also not 100% sure that a bit of shoulder didn't come into play... Still, rapt to have scored 2 with the head in the last two games. My height is staying to pay dividends!
My MVPs are Lloyd, Paddy and ? Those two guys worked bloody hard in the middle of the park against what I thought was a bloody good team. How they haven't picked up more points is beyond me. I guess their attackers weren't too threatening but their backs and midfielders could play ball well.
I think in hindsight what we should have done is press them more. Our LB and RB should have pressed hard on their LM and RM, with our LM and RM pressing their LB and RB. It does open things up a bit more at the back but I think we could have forced a mistake with more pressure and pinched another goal. Still, despite them being bottom of the table it feels like a point won! We didn't have too many shots on goal throughout the whole game.
Enjoy the week off and we'll come back hard against Brooklyn in what is an absolute must win if we want 2nd.
I was a big fan of the sideline comment when Rauru hit the dust: "Come on number 9, you're twice his size and twice his age". And Rauru is definitely at the younger end of the Stallions spectrum. Makes you wonder what he thought of the rest of us.
re Raura's point about pressing up the wings - had the same thought after saturday's game, in that we (me) haven't been getting to the byline often enough and crossing from there. the crosses from mid way in the half are too easy for the keepers to mop up and harder for the recipient to control/shoot. the few times paddy has crossed it in from the byline, rauru's been getting goals.
